Sense8, a series on Netflix, is now filming and casting directors are looking for a ton of extras for a few different scenes. From the creators of “The Matrix” and “Babylon 5” comes this tense series in which eight people can telepathically experience each others lives. Casting directors are looking for actors who are local to Chicago, Illinois where the series if filming.
They will need need approximately 500 extras for this shoot, the majority of which will fall on 2 days. They will need around 250+ extras on Tuesday, June 7th for an airport scene and around 120 extras for a college scene on Tuesday, June 14th. They will also need a large number of Hispanic/Latino extras on Tuesday, June 14th.
For the other 7 days of the shoot, it will be mostly smaller numbers, but they will need some specific types, such as real police with CPD uniforms and some doctors/nurses for a hospital scene. The Police days are Friday Jun 10 and Wed Jun 15th. The hospital scene is on Wed Jun 15th. Please take note of these dates when you are submitting your availability.
The show will also need a few minors on Sunday, June 12th. They are looking to cast 5 boys/girls aged 9-12 yrs old on that day. If you are submitting your minor, please indicate if the child has a valid Atmosphere Casting or talent agency work permit.
