Casting National Geographic's What Would Teddy Do - Apply NowDeLisi Creative is casting a special for National Geographic’s EXPLORER called “What Would Teddy Do?,” which will examine our current political climate through the lens of TR’s life & experiences. The shoot does take place in the Baltics in Lithuania for 3-4 days during week of April 18. The casting directors are looking for a male to portray Teddy Roosevelt as a young man and in his older years.  They will age the selected actor if needed.

They are looking for male actors ages 35-50.  Having a physical resemblance to Teddy Roosevelt is a plus.  The most important attribute they are looking for is strong acting ability.  They need someone who can embody his power, charismatic, albeit slightly nerdy persona. Horse riding skills a plus!  The pay for the show is 400.00 per day plus travel and food.  They are looking for non-union actors.

In email body, include your name, contact info, where you live (city/state), current “selfie” style photos (both face & 3/4; natural, no manipulation or filters) & confirm you’re able to work non union. If you have horseback riding skills, please describe experience/proficiency level. You may include headshot/resume/reel or recent performing clips (current natural snapshots more important than headshot). Accepting nationwide submissions. If you have a valid US passport, please advise.  Some candidates will be asked to attend an in-person audition or submit a self taped audition.  The deadline to apply is Friday, March 18th by 12am midnight.  This may be extended, but there is no guarantee so if you want to submit be sure to do so by then so you don’t miss out!
