CBS is bringing back the former popular TV show “MacGyver” and you have a chance to be in the new series! The show is being filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. Casting directors are looking for men and women to be in a flashback scene that takes place in the 1970’s.
According to CBS, “MacGyver, a reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton and Patricia Thornton, ex-field agent turned director of operations and Riley Davis, an unpredictable computer hacker with a chip on her shoulder. At home, MacGyver is entertained by his ambitious roommate, Wilt Bozer. Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip”.
Central Casting is looking for males and females to work in flashback scenes that take place in the 70’s. Looking for males and females with good 1970′s looks, specifically hair that can be styled in a 1970′s fashion (men: long or fuller hair, sideburns, etc – women: natural long and medium length hair with no highlights or coloring). We may also need period appropriate cars, so please send photos of any pre-1980 car you have. These roles will be filming sometime over the next three weeks so be sure you have a relatively open schedule. The background actor roles pay $68.00 for 8 hours of filming plus time and a half for overtime that actors work over eight hour.
