Dirty Dancing Remake on ABC Looking for KidsThe remake of the hit 80’s film “Dirty Dancing” is now filming and casting directors are looking for kids to take part in the fun. The three hour TV remake will revolve around Baby (Abigail Breslin), an innocent young woman who vacations with her affluent parents at an early-1960s Catskill Mountains resort and gets swept off her feet by Johnny (Colt Prattes), a handsome, working-class dance instructor.

The casting director is in need a few kids between the ages of 8 and 12 years old that are available to film the entire week of May 2nd through May 6th in Saluda. The TV movie is filming in different cities in North Carolina.  Kids must be available for the entire week to be considered, no exceptions. They would prefer kids that may be able to film a day or two the following week of May 9th through May 13th as well in Cashiers.

You should include current photos, name, parent’s name, age, eight, weight, all clothing sizes, shoe size and the city and state you reside in. If casting directors are interested in using your child for the shoot, they will contact you.
