There is a new casting call for the short film “Flags of War”. This is a three-part short war film parody that follows Timmy, a very young boy eager for his older brother’s attention, who is denied the ability to join his brother’s side in a game of Capture the Flag. Upset and hurt, Timmy defies his brother’s commands and joins the opposing sides team. As the war begins, Timmy runs off into the woods, afraid of the intense battle. He stumbles upon the enemy flag only to be stopped by his brother seconds before grabbing it. This short film focuses on the bond between brothers in life as well as on the battlefield.
Casting directors are looking for extras to play on each team. The production is scheduled to shoot for three days in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area. The shoot is not-paid however all selected actors will receive meals, snacks and beverages. The short film was written by Emily Greenwood, is being produced by Ashliegh Duffy and is being directed by Brandon Pownall.
