There is a new casting call for a new set of headphones! An Australian startup is gearing up to launch their new innovative headphone that calibrates to each listener’s unique hearing profile. The company is looking for actors to appear in a video that will be on their Kickstarter campaign page. It will help explain the product while making it look attractive to potential buyers. The video will be filming in the San Francisco Bay area at some of the Bay area’s iconic locations.
The casting team is looking for one male and one female that is appearing between the ages of 21 and 30 years old. They are looking for actors who have on-camera experience. Candidates should be music lovers and audiophiles and should be comfortable wearing headphones in different locations.
The selected actors will be paid $400.00 for a day rate of 8 hours, $200.00 for a half day rate depending on when the actors are needed. Lunch and transportation after arrival to the first location will be provided. This is a non-union shoot that will be filming next month. No auditions will be held, actors will be selected based on their resumes and a phone interview. Shooting is set to begin on Tuesday, May 3rd and wrap on Friday, May 6th. Filming will start in the early morning and late afternoon, the exact call times have not yet been determined so you should be available for the shoot days if you want to be considered. The actual filming take place across two four to eight hour days. The exact dates within that time frame are to be determined based on the actor’s availability and the company’s needs.
