Have you worked on the new Netflix TV Show “Mindhunter? Here is your chance! Casting directors are looking for fresh new faces tow work on the new series. The new show is based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit that was by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. Deadline reports that, “For years, Douglas pursued some of the most notorious serial killers and rapists, developing profiling techniques to catch them. The book goes behind the scenes of some of his highest-profile cases, including the man who hunted prostitutes in Alaska, the Atlanta child murderer, and Seattle’s Green River killer.” The series will center on two FBI agents who pioneered behavioral profiling in the 1970’s.
Because filming is in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, casting directors are looking for local models and actors. College looking teens and professor types are now being cast for the Netflix show. The shoot will take place this Friday, August 26th. Since the show takes place in the 1970’s, actors need to be able to pull off the look of that decade. Filming will be in the afternoon and evening. The gig will pay $64.00 for 8 hours plus time and a half for overtime which is anything worked after the eight hours. If you have a pre 1980 car, pay will be $175.00 for cars parked in the shot!
